     Happy Last Week Before Break Staff! I hope you has a lovely weekend! We are looking forward to our final week of 2017 with our students  and I know I am looking forward to 2018! As we close out December together, please remember to celebrate the TJ spirit and the spirit of the season with our students.  We have a HUGE week ahead of us with  Winter Caroling Night, Awards Assemblies, Spirit Days, and our Holiday Read Around. Learning, Leading and FUN for all!   WE GOT THIS!

• All students check in their classroom by 5:45

• Report to your first designated spot on the flow chart by 6:00, ready to perform.

• Wait for a general announcement to begin singing; I will start exactly at 6:00pm satellite time.

• Parents will be directed to pick up their kids from their classroom, except for third grade.

• I will make a final announcement, so you know that all groups have finished their singing.

HOLIDAY READ AROUND!

The 2nd ANNUAL HOLIDAY READ AROUND is this Friday!  So Exciting!  Sign-ups for Grades 2-5 will be on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  Please refer the the schedule that will be sent out on Monday for sign up information.  The sign-ups will be in the front hallway of the MPR.  

Our Holiday Read Around Schedule will host three reading sessions.  The first will begin at 9:30 and we will continue until recess.  Please follow the schedule below and grade level partnerships below:

Reading Buddies:

O'Hair - Chadwell

Balao- Yeager

King - Hagan

Reilly - Edson

Balao - Blagg

Logie - Currie

Keck - Ertola

Daniels - Boyd

Vose - Additional students from Blagg.

Sage - Additional Students from Currie, Boyd, Blagg and Edson

Please connect with one another in the early days of this week about the number of students in each class that need buddies and all over flow will be sent to Mrs. Sage's class to support her students.  Communication is very important for this event to be successful  Please ensure that every TK-1 student has a buddy!

The schedule will be as follows:

9:00 - Buddies head to buddy classes and pick up their reading buddies

9:15 - Session 1

9:35 - Transition to Session 2

9:40 - Session 2

10:00 - Transition to Session 3

10:05 - Session 5

10:25 - Transition to CLASSROOMS

10:30 =  School - Wide Hot Cocoa Party in the Quad

Please be prepared to step out of your classroom and supervise the transitions and ANY support for the school wide hot chocolate party will be much appreciated!

SCHOOL WIDE RESPONSIBILITY BOOSTER HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY

As up you head out to recess there will be a upper grade Hot Chocolate Station on the Office side of the stage and an Primary Station on the other side.  Please bring your students to the assigned area for Hot Chocolate and then recess.
