Hello Team TJ!

I hope that you all had a wonderful and restful weekend!  The weather lent it's self to two days on the treadmill instead of an outdoor walk, movies and warm bowls of soup.  I also had time to think about the next few weeks.  It is hard to believe that we are just twelve weeks away from the end of the school year.  We know that these last twelve weeks are so very vital in meeting the needs of our students.  It is important to keep the RIGOR up while still making school FUN!  We have so much to do and it is important to make every moment count!

We have a few important dates on the horizon to keep in mind.  This Wednesday is our minimum day for parent teacher conferences.  If you have not already contacted or reached out to parents who you need to conference with please do so. 

Trimester 2 grades are due no later than
Wednesday, March 6th at 11:59 PM (PST).  You will need to submit a SchoolDude ticket for any grade that is changed after that date (whether overall or standard domain).  Report cards for elementary students should go home no later than Friday, March 8th.

Thank you for all of your hard work it does not go unnoticed!

SUPERINTENDENT AND BOARD MEMBER VISIT

Derk and our RCSD Board Members will be on campus on Thursday, March 7, 2018 at 9:30 am.  We will be walking classrooms and the campus.

 A PTC Evening of Dining, Dancing and Fun!

The Thomas Jefferson PTC is excited to announce that on Friday, March 29th our 2nd Annual Denim & Diamonds Dinner & Auction Party is back! This year’s event benefits our Thomas Jefferson Elementary Students and their campus; the evening’s proceeds will directly benefit Campus Beautification along with Recess & Playground Equipment needs.

WHAT'S FOR DINNER???

Please join the TJ family at Chipolte in the Nugget shopping center on Monday, March 18, 2018 from 4-8pm.  Proceeds from this event go directly to enrichment activities at Thomas Jefferson.


STAR STRUCK



Starstruck is back at Thomas Jefferson!. 
This year the theme is “10 Year Celebration!” To order tickets, please complete the bottom portion and return to the school with cash only! Last day to submit a purchase for tickets is Friday, March 15, 2019. You can send this form to your students’ teacher or to the front office. Purchased tickets will be sent home with your student in Friday folders. 

The children will be performing two identical shows on the evening that they perform; one at 6:00 and 2nd performance at 7:00.  

Tickets are now on sale for these performances with a donation of $3 each. Please note that DVDs of the evening performance will be available to order on the night of the performance.

Costumes add so much to the dance.  It can be as simple as colored t-shirts or a color theme.
