☀Sunshine☀…how I have missed you!  Thank you so much for your patience and perseverance last week.  It was a soggy week of indoor recess, ☂umbrellas (please do not get me started about kids and umbrellas☂)…

Ok, one story; as it is POURING rain I see two kindergartners headed back to class from the bathroom, with their super cute and fancy umbrellas.  One of our little friends is using it correctly, the other, well she has it UPSIDE DOWN and is watching it fill up with water.  I wait…I watch and then…she flips is up and soaks herself.  So I am thinking…natural consequence, until she heads promptly to the office complaining that she is wet.  Needless to say she was sent back to class.

But, seriously, THANK YOU!  It was a rough week and you are all appreciated!  It was a privilege to watch you all work with kids in need, find logical and thoughtful solutions and engage our students in meaningful problem solving, both academically and socially!

I hope that this weekend of SUN, Vitamin D and an additional day of balance were wonderful.  Arrow loved that fact that he got to take his pack for several walks! 🐾🐾🐾

Warm regards!

Kirsten

Flexible Seating at TJ

Several of our TJ staff have begun the transition to Flexible Seating.  This approach to classroom design allows students to engage in learning in many ways, and allows them to assess what they need to be successful in the classroom. If you are interested in knowing more or learning from others please see me and the link below.
