THANK YOU!

Wow...what a week we had!  Thank you so much for attending SSC and ELAC...and making our OPEN HOUSE such a success!  I have heard from many of you that this was a good turn out and that our families were pleased with the event. We have several families, future TK and Kindergarten and new enrollments in attendance and they all had great things to say!  This is because YOU!  I am humbled by your heart, grace and engagement for each student in your class and how you all engage with every STAR on campus. Any Star is OUR Star!

I will be off campus on Monday.  I am taking a CPI day.  Please connect with Suzy an Kimber if there are concerns.

CASSPP Testing Grades 3-5 CONTINUES!

THANK YOU for attending to the details of this rigorous schedule!  There are several kiddos that have independent study contracts during the testing time.  Please coordinate with Kimber and Kirsten to ensure that their testing is completed during the time line.  We will both make the time to complete the testing needed.  The testing this year seems to be taking longer than last year; please encourage the kiddos to so their best and show GRIT!

3:30 pm

We had a No Shoe at the ELAC meeting last week.  If you are a teacher  English of a Second Language Learner please encourage your parents to attend the rescheduled English Learner Advisory Committee on 5/16/17  at 3:30 p.m. in our staff room.  We will be reviewing our assessment data, parent survey and seeking your feedback for next steps for next year. We look forward to seeing you there!

Return of the TJ Stars!  Please encourage your Stars to wear their best Star Wars shirts and hats to school on Thursday, May 4th, 2017.  There will be a special prize for the class that has the highest participation including the teacher!  Special guests will join us at lunch and during lunch recess to help us harness the Force.

Please join us on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 8:30-11:30 for our Spring Campus Work Day.  We will be focusing on playground and campus beautification and office and classroom support.  Please share the sign up  link with your families. If you have classroom tasks that a parent can help you with; please provide directions and deliver them to the staff room on Friday.  This could be simple tasks as cutting Star Bucks or compiling homework.
