Monday, September 16, 2019

THANK YOU for your hard work and engagement in the learning that took place on Friday.  It was a great day and that is all because of you!

Our Data Team meetings and RTI meeting are scheduled for next week. After receiving feedback from the site we will be moving forward with 1/2 day DTM Meetings on our second cycle.  We will be meeting by grade level on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

The Data Team Meeting Schedule will be as follows:
8:35 - 9:40 - 4/5 Grades + Lemos
9:45 - 10:50 - 1st Grade
10:55 - 12:00 - 3rd Grade
12:00-12:40 - Guest Teacher lunch
12:45 - 1:50 - Kindergarten + Vose
1:55 - 3:00 - 2nd Grade + Petersen

Please copy and complete the Data Team Meeting Form that is attached to the agenda. These can be found in your grade level Shared MTSS Folder within the Data Team Meeting Folder.  Monday's PLC time is a perfect time to decide on the Essential Standard and complete this work.

Data that could be used are our iReady Data, District Phonic and other data that is informing your identified essential Standard.

Please note that ALL RSP sessions on this day will be canceled so that Rolly can be in attendance for grade level DTM meetings as he serves all grade levels.

This article is a good article about the importance of DTMs and how we can come together to support all students through data-driven decision making.

You can see a sample of the agenda HERE.

Library

The Library will be closed at RECESS until Kerri's return.  She is at home and doing well and should be back at work in a couple weeks.  The Guest login and directions on how to check out books are on her desk if you want to take your students to the library to get books.

I am looking forward to meeting with you and learning more about our next steps in supporting all students.

We will be meeting on Wednesday at 3:15-4:30 - agenda items will include more work on the Tommy Apostolos, Student Support Protocol, Behavioral Data Collection and Nuts and Bolts.
