Thank you for answering your calling! The video above is such a nice reminder of the influence that we have as educators have in the lives of our children and families. This has never been more true in 2020! Please take time to friend those moments of JOY in your classrooms, they will remind us all of why we do what we do.
Thank you,
Kirsten
Hybrid/Champions Update
The staffing information was shared and I will be contacting each grade level for further questions.
If you are interested in volunteering for the Champions Academy please email me. There is a need for volunteers at all grade levels.
Now that we have the staffing information we will then be able to create our Hybrid classes. Please note that we will be following the following process in creating our cohorts:
1. RSP/SLP Prioritizing
2. SDC Inclusion consult
3. Combos- Break up if possible
4. Siblings
5. AM/PM Preferences
I will reach out to each grade level to create the cohort/class in the next two weeks.
Staff Meeting Update
It was my intention to align the Leadership Meetings and our Staff Meetings in the same week so that you receive the most current information in a timely manner.
Our meetings are not aligned for the month of October, that being said the meeting dates will be as follows:
October 7, 2020 - 7:45 am
October 21, 2020 - 7:45 am
We will revisit staff meeting days and times for November and as we move forward with the Hybrid or Phase IV.
A NOTE FROM OUR PTC:
Welcome back to school! The PTC is excited to announce our plans for this year. Our mission is to continue to provide enrichment for students, families, and staff whether onsite or distance learning.
- We are proud to offer monthly virtual enrichment activities for students and their families. We believe these activities will build up our community and let us come together in a way that is safe and fun!
- Sept 15-30th International Dot Day Activity
- International Dot Day is a day celebrating courage and creativity. It is based on the book by Peter H Reynolds, The Dot. Join other TJ stars and complete the "Make Your Mark" art project. Click here to see the project and respond.
- We developed a virtual page that is informative, interactive, and fun. It is going to be our main way of communicating.
- Features staff spotlights, upcoming events, fundraising info, contests, and giveaways.
