PROGRESS REPORTS:
Elementary Trimester 1 Progress Report Reminders
Elementary Teachers: A reminder, Elementary Progress Reports need to go home by Friday, September 24. There are two minimum expectations from the District when it comes to Progress Reports for elementary students:
  1. Any student that might receive a Limited on any domain on the Trimester 1 Report Card receives communication regarding progress from their teacher during progress report time. This includes both academic domains, and the academic behavior and college readiness standards.
  2. PLCs are on the same page in regards to what information they send home and when they send that home.
Teachers are allowed to send additional information or send information to all students if they choose, but that is a PLC decision. Teachers can communicate using the District form, or you may use your own form of communication. If you are going to communicate using something different than the District provided form, you must let your administrator know.

Below is a document that has different progress report options. There are two types of files, PDF or Google doc. All three-trimester options are on there for the Google doc version, please select Trimester 1 if you are using the Google doc.

PLC/DTM Video/Folders

Please see the video below for the DTM/PLC information for the upcoming Data Team Meetings on 9/30-10/1 - The schedule for the PD days will be shared later this week.

DTM folders now include past pacing guides and assessment agreements.


Please note the following Action Items:
  • Completed Essential Standards Learning Targets for Trimester 1 - teams may edit past docs but should reflect the program that you are currently using - (Ready Common Core)
  • Complete Data Analysis Form Prior to 9/30.
  • Come to a common agreement about which subject area will be your grade level focus for iReady by 9/30.

PTC Fundraiser

The PTC will be hosting a DAY OF AWESOME fundraiser.  We apologize for the back and forth on Friday.  PLEASE HOLD ON TO THE FLYERS THAT ARE IN YOUR BOX and send them home on the day that we show the launch video, we should have an update shortly. 

Vaccine Verification/Weekly Testing
  
Vaccine Verification and Weekly resting requirements will begin on Monday, September 20, 2021.  Thomas Jefferson's testing day is Thursday from 12:15-3:15 pm.  If you would like to test and need someone to release your class for the testing time, please contact the office.

Awards Assembly

Our next awards assembly will be on Monday, 27, 2021.  These will be held in your classroom and the slide deck with a video will be shared with you by Friday.  Please share this news with families, at this time our volunteers and visitors to campus are limited so invitations to the event are not permitted.  A quick email or note to the family will help brighten their day and allow them to share in the moment. 

Technology Update

Apple School Manager Schedule
In the upcoming weeks, the Information Systems Technician team will be at sites enrolling staff iPads and Apple TVs into site Apple School Manager (ASM) accounts and Filewave (MDM) to enable future App purchases without two-factor authentication. The enrollment process requires the staff iPad and Apple TV be factory reset. We ask that you please work with your LITE to download or transfer any personal items (i.e. photos, videos, notes, etc.) from the iPad prior to our site visit.

Please have remotes for Apple TVs available and staff iPads charged and passcodes available if there is a passcode lock. Any site purchased apps with available licenses will be re-installed on the device. If there are no licenses available, please work with your principal on purchasing licenses for the apps.

We will also take this opportunity to enroll staff laptops into Filewave (MDM) which will take a couple of minutes with each staff computer to install the application. Please leave your teacher laptop in the room prior to our visit. The Information Systems Technician team will be onsite after instructional hours to enroll the devices, please submit a SchoolDude ticket if you are unable to leave your laptop so we can schedule Filewave enrollment ahead of the site visit.
