PTC Fundraiser Information:
Please show the video on Monday, September 27, 2021, and see the information below:
THE FUNDRAISER IS HAPPENING NEXT WEEK!!! Thank you for your patience! Please read the instructions below. We can only be successful with your help. The videos shared below are for internal school use only. BUt please follow the schedule. We only need your help the first 3 days and then at the end to collect the final funds turned in. We will take care of the rest! If you aren't already, please follow our PTC Facebook Page for updates and information.
Next week on Monday 9/27 is the kick-off to our STEAM fundraiser . This is a virtual fundraiser. We are raising funds for STEM items for the school and permanent outdoor seating and hopefully some shade structures.
We need your help to make it successful.
Today you will find flyers in your box. You each have a sample of the "Golden Ticket Prize" - The Sloth and Octopod Stand. These are yours to keep or give away. The flyers need to go home with your student on MONDAY 9/27.
On Monday 9/27, you will have your class watch the kick-off assembly in class at a time that you choose, but it must be watched on Monday. Then send home the flyer at the end of the day. Here is the video for the launch party assembly (15 minutes long) : Linked in your email from PTC. My suggestion is to watch it before recess or lunch time. It is meant to get the kids really excited!! (I mean, who doesn't want prizes!?)
On Tuesday 9/28, your students will return with a completed "Golden Ticket". We will distribute prizes to each student who brings the form back on Tuesday. We will bring a cart with the prizes around to each classroom that morning between 9-11. Please gather your Golden Tickets at the beginning of class time. Then we can distribute them quickly and be too much of an interruption. On Tuesday 9/28 please show this short video: Linked in your email from PTC. This is a "second chance" video giving kids the opportunity to turn in their golden tickets on Wednesday.
On Wednesday 9/29 we will do the same thing as Tuesday and come around to give the Golden Ticket prizes. This is the last day that we will give out prizes.
Next, we will need help with your sharing information via email to your parents. Little reminders for certain deadlines. Any promotion or encouragement for participation in the fundraiser would be greatly appreciated.
This virtual fundraiser will last 2 weeks. On Oct. 8 students will start turning in any funds raised. Please collect it and turn it in to the office immediately.
This is how the online fundraising works:
- Students register at stepitupkids.com and invite 10 family and friends to donate to the school by putting their email addresses into your schools customized donation platform. (We provide 3 reminders that are auto sent to all contact info that has not made a donation. Once a donation is made, no additional requests are sent). If they invite 20 or more friends to donate they are entered into a drawing for cash prizes and then an ipad. The Two Cash prizes will be awarded on 9/28 & 9/29 and the Ipad will be awarded on 9/29. These winners are drawn by the company.
- Families and Friends make donation online (95% of donations are made online) Pledge sheets are also used for people who prefer to pay by cash or check. The pledge sheets will start coming in on October 8.
- The week of Nov. 8th will be the Fundraiser celebration. Each class will be given a STEM party kit. Celebrate at your convenience.
AWARDS ASSEMBLY: Perseverance and Grit: Congratulations to our Rising Stars who were recognized for demonstrating this life skill: The video for the assembly is here: September Awards Video. We will be continuing to have our recognition assemblies in class until further notice. Awards are in your box.
