MTSS TOSA/IA Schedule

The MTSS TOSA/IA Scheudle is still in the works. Please see the DRAFT schedules below.  Marisa and Tehya will begin her schedule this week and please note that there may be some minor changes to the schedules.
These schedules reflect the support of Tier One Math Instruction, Social-Emotional Education and Intervention.

BOOK FAIR

Our Annual Book Fair will be on campus this week!

The schedule is below:

Book Fair Scehdule


There will be parent volunteers on campus to help each class. It will also be open at recess for the students as in the past. We will limit the number of students time in the book fair to 10 minutes, to support contact tracing.


OT Supplies

There are some small golf pencils and putty in the office for students who need them for fine motor skills.  

Spirit Week 10/25-10/29

In lieu of the Annual Harvest Festival the PTC wanted to make our annual Red Ribbon Spirit Week a little more festive and fun.
Please see below for the theme days and extra activities for next week:

Monday - Crazy Socks Day (popcorn [healthy snack]sent home with the kids) - 

Tuesday - Fall Flannel day (Pizza Party - based on class participation from Monday. A google doc will be sent out for a participation count) 

Wednesday - Super Hero Day -Wear favorite shirt/hat with superheroes on it. (no Costumes)  Popsicles for all classes 

Thursday - Wear Red Day (Pizza Parties for participation.   A google doc will be sent out for a participation count) 
A fun art activity will be prepped for all classrooms for you to do when you choose.

Friday - Sports Day - Wear shirts/hats representing favorite sport/teams - 
End of School Day Dance Party in the quad area at 2:35 pm. 
Pop-it Key chains for all students will be delivered to your class. 


SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL NEEDS YOU!

If you know of a parent who is interested please reach out to Kirsten. 

The School Site Council is a governing body that is comprised of parents, staff, and community members.  This team provides feedback and advises the School Site Plan.  We currently have five positions open on our SSC.  If you are interested in running for a position on our SSC please please stop by the office or email Mrs. Acke :
kthomas-acke@rcsdk8.org.


Parent Teacher Conferences



PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE WEEK is scheduled for the week of November 15-19, 2021.  We will be having minimum days the whole week and school hours will be 8:35 am - 12:17 pm.
If you have not reached out to parents please do so.  If you want me to attend a conference, I am available every day but Thursday, November 18, 2021, due to District Training.
