A message from Kirsten

I know I have said it a MILLION times but THANK YOU.  Last week was incredibly difficult and challenging for us all and as we head in to another week it is my hope that it is filled with a little more joy and happiness.  I have watched you navigate the worst of stroms with heart and grace with every turn and I see you!  You continue to amaze, our students and families are so very lucky to have you in their lives.

February Awards Assembly

Read Across America

Community Readers will be in your classroom between 9-9:30. There will be no more than two readers in each class unless you have invited more parents to join you.  The readers names that are coming to your room will be shared with you no later than Tuesday morning.

The Student Leadership Team has also been paired with each primary class - Grades TK-2 - to read aloud to them.  The Leadership Team will be in your class to read at your convenience.  Please communicate to Madline when you would like the reading pair to join your class.  They can read in your room our outdoors.  This is a great way for our older kiddos to share the love of reading with the littles.

Read Across America Week 2022

We will be celebrating Read Across America Week the week of Feb. 28- March 4, 2022.  Please be on the lookout early next week for volunteer opportunities to be a part of bringing stories and literature to our TJ Stars!

Staff Meeting

There is so much on our plate at this time and I have limited information to share with you at this staff meeting, nothing that could not be shared in an email. =) I do not have much that I can give you other than the gift of time.  This month's meeting will be canceled. 

We have a PD day coming up on March 21 at which we can cover other items as they arise.
