As I reflect on the last week, a SUPER busy week, I am once again humbled to be a part of this amazing staff. I have been welcomed into classrooms for informal and formal observations that have led to thoughtful and reflective conversations, that have influenced my practice as an educator! Thank you all for making me think, reflect and grow!
This week also has also embraced a personal milestone in my family's life. Our daughter Jordan has turned 18. Today I am highly reflective...and a bit emotional. Today we reflected, today we celebrated her accomplishments, but I was reminded that our lives as passionate educators can take time from our families. As we prepare lessons, report cards and quality first instruction...that is time away from OUR ver BEST. I thank you for your time and dedication to our TJ families!

We are in dire need of donations and volunteers! Please see the email template below:
In light of past practice where teachers were sprayed with silly string or had pies in the face...I would like to celebrate our kiddos by being present. If you are able to make it to the festival, please join us.... and you have a pirate costume on hand, wear it to support our Book Fair! Our mingling and interacting with our students and their families is much more positive and honors your work!
