Thank you for your support and JOY that you all brought to Read Across America Week.  The JOY of TJ could be felt across the campus in every classroom and in our students, families and staff alike.  As we move forward this week and come to the end of the second trimester, please take a moment to reflect on multiple assessment practices and you conferring notes about each student as you work on report cards.  Our students are not just one measure of a skill, we must ensure that we have given them multiple opportunities to demonstrate their learning. Please ensure as you confer with students who are indeed of a conference, students who are not meeting standard with out accommodations, that you have grade level samples to share with the parents and ensure that you have opened iReady Instruction for them.

If you have a new student,  and it has been less than six weeks and you are truly lacking data, please complete a progress report and share what information you have with the parents.

The  to Remember keepsake order form came home in last week's Friday Folder. This is a popular fundraiser that celebrates your child's art work and all proceeds fund our Art Docent program and help pay for art supplies. Please post reminders about this fundraiser in your email communications to families. 

THANK A PTC MEMBER!

One of this years goals  of the PTC was to enable students to have success while learning in the classroom. One of the big projects was providing sensory items to each classroom. Thanks to the success of this year's fundraisers they were able to provide 10 sensory items per classroom. 220 for the whole school! Please take a moment to thank our PTC for the amazing thoughtfulness that focused on meeting the needs of ALL learners!
