STARSTRUCK - A Night with the Jacksons
March 28 and March 30
Tickets must be purchased by Friday, March 24th and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis according to the show time requested. Once a show is sold out, tickets will be issued for the alternate show time. If you have already purchased for both shows, we will hold your tickets until March 24th to ensure we have enough tickets for you to attend both shows.
The children will be performing two identical shows on the evening that they perform; one at 6:00 and another one at 7:00. All students performing on their respective night are required to stay for both shows. We are requesting a note for any student who will not be able to perform that evening as every absent student leaves a gap in the performance.
Tickets are now on sale for these performances with a donation of $3 each. Please note that DVDs of the evening performance will be able to be ordered on the night of the performance.

CASSPP Testing Grades 3-5
California’s academic standards are designed so students graduate ready for college and a career. One way we measure their progress is through the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) assessments. Students across California in grades 3–8 and high school take these assessments each spring. These tests were created specifically to gauge each student’s performance in English language arts/literacy (ELA), mathematics, and science. These tests measure the skills called for by the academic standards, including the ability to write clearly, think critically, and solve problems.
Because CAASPP tests are given statewide, they provide an opportunity to measure the skills of all students against the same academic standards. Given online, the tests are computer-adaptive, allowing more precise measurement of individual skills.
For further information please see the letter link below, that was emailed home earlier this week.
There will be weekly updates and parent information added to the blog as we approach the testing window. This years testing window is from April 24- May 26, 2017.
