Ponderings:
I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the thoughtful work on the SMART Goals before winter break. It was clearly evident that when we drill down and concentrate on a skill we see great growth. With that being said, please take the next couple of weeks to create another short SMART goal cycle that is grounded in data and share the goal, targeted group of students and outcome date with me by the end of PLC on the 29th. We will once again be sharing out comes of our goals in at the March 7th Staff Meeting. Please complete the SMART Goal Worksheet attached and place a copy in my box. Sami will be returning to Thomas Jefferson on Tuesday, Jan 23, 2017. Please see the day's schedule HERE.
Please join our amazing Roseville Foundation in supporting the music program across the district and at TJ. Our PTC and myself will be creating and amazing dessert to serve and WIN at this competition! Every elementary and middle school in the Roseville City School District will compete in our second annual Comfort Food Cook-Off. All proceeds benefit music education!
Come out and try the delicious creations from each school and vote for your favorite!

PBIS REVIEW NEEDED
Please review the bathroom procedures and expectations with ALL students this upcoming week. The restrooms have been found in terrible condition over the last two weeks. Thank you for supporting the PBIS expectations and our amazing custodial team.

In the red folders came home the invitations for the upcoming Annual TJ Daughter Dance. Also in the envelope was the ticket order form. Ticket sales are first come first serve, so turn in your ticket requests ASAP. We will not be selling tickets at the door as this event usually sells out. Enrollment
As a reminder, enrollment for all RCSD schools including Thomas Jefferson opened for the 2018-19 school year on January 11, 2018. As we continue to grow as a school site please reach out to neighbors about our online registration system. Registration will be online again this year. Please watch our website for updates. Please encourage parents to log in and register their children in your weekly communications.
