TJ Star Report
March 8, 2018

Dear Team TJ!

HAPPY SUNDAY!   I don't know about you but last week was one for the books!  I left Friday EXHAUSTED! I know that all of you must have felt the same and I want to take a moment to THANK YOU all for all of your hard work, STARSTRUCK and the awards assemblies you have not been what they were without your support!  I wanted to share a special SHOUT OUT to both Rico and John!  They were both super flexible this week and we APPRECIATE you both SO much!

On that note, we need to also thank Mary Jo and Margaret!  They have fielded STARSTRUCK tickets, yearbook orders and much more over the last few weeks and they have done so with grace and a smile!  We appreciate you, and I for one KNOW that TJ would not be what it is without you!

Thank you for your daily commitment and love for our STARS and one another.  I am forever grateful to be a part of such a special team!

- Kirsten

Hello TJ Parents!

💎The Thomas Jefferson PTC is excited to announce that on May 4, 2018, they are bringing back our Annual Dinner & Auction Party with our newest theme, Denim & Diamonds!  This will be a fun night to get the TJ Parents, Teachers, Staff and Community together with a Dinner catered by Chandos Tacos, Drinks, Music by DJ JB, Dancing and more!  There will be Raffles, Silent and Live Auctions as well!  This event will raise money that will all directly benefit our Thomas Jefferson Elementary Students and their technology needs, including specifically Chrome Books for the classrooms.

💎 I hope to see all of you there as well!  This is a great TJ Community event to get everyone together, meet new people, have some fun all while supporting our School and our Students!  For more information, see the event invitation that went out in your Red Folders and visit the TJ PTC website, http://ptctj.weebly.com/ to purchase tickets now!

Teacher Name

Please save the date, we hope to see you all there!  It should be great fun!

Please rember:
Get your class involved!  Pick a theme and ask your parents, see what they can donate.  Some examples of basket themes are below.  Get creative and have fun!  For your help and generosity, we are again, as we have done in the past, offering 1 free ticket to the event ($40 value) per teacher if you donate a class basket!  P.S.  The ticket comes with 1 free drink ticket as well!! ;)  But that’s not all, we are also offering a contest for the Top Baskets!  We have 3 categories:  Most Creative Basket, Best Theme, and Best Value.  The PTC Board will vote and the 3 winners will win something special!  So start thinking about what you want to do.  I have put a Teacher Basket List up in the Teacher Lounge on the White Board so when you are ready, please write your theme next to your name.  We will be putting each Basket Theme Name and Teacher Name in our event program with a description of your baskets.  Can’t wait to see what you all come up with!  Thank you in advance for your participation!  We really appreciate you all!  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!

Thank you!
Kirsten and TJ's PTC!
