Happy New Year Team TJ!
Welcome back to the 2018-2019 School year. This summer FLEW by and in a blink of an eye we are back at it! We concluded the school year with a poem, thank you for your heart for and dedication to our students.
We are all TJ Star Polishers. We take our kiddos in and we buff and we polish so that they shine! As we move forward with this school year, let us buff and polish not only our students but one another and our community so that we all SHINE!
As you embrace the last few days of summer, please know that the office staff is here to assist you in any way we can. We are currently working hard to sure up our numbers and to schedule our students in classes as soon as possible. The lists that you currently see on PowerSchool are not our final lists. Please refrain from committing pen to paper for those cute little name tags until you hear more. We have some grade levels that are very full and we still have families that are coming in and calling to register.
Our campus is ready to go and Rico and John have done a TOP KNOTCH job preparing the school and it's grounds to welcome our STARS back to school! It was a CRAZY summer with painting and maintenance. Every time they would love to a wing the painters would have it all taped up. They deserve HUGE round of applause! Please take time to thank them.
We would like to welcome new additions to our staff:
- Rolly will be joining the TJ family and will be our new RSP teacher. We are thrilled to have her join us from the Watsonville. She comes to us with a wonderful background in behavior support and RSP experience.
- Sara Petersen will be joining our team as our new 2/3 SDC Teacher. Sara finished her Moderate to Severe Credential this summer at Chico State and will begin her career as a teacher as a TJ Star!
- Miss. Bingle, Mrs. Cartwright, Mrs. Gorji, Mrs.Hine, Mrs. Jones, and Mrs. Plageman have accepted new Instructional Assistant positions at Thomas Jefferson
