Thank you so much for your hard work in setting the tone for a positive new year. Your classrooms look amazing and it has been amazing watching you all teach the classroom routines and rituals that foster a positive classroom climate. This is the time of the year where we will see our students get comfortable in their environment they will come out of their shells. This is a great time to get to know our students and create relationships that will have a lasting impact on the rest of the year. Take the time to ask meaningful questions and engage with them, we know that our neediest students will reach out in ways that can be often uninviting. They are asking for help; seek to understand.
We are all in this together and as we all reach out to our Stars they in turn will reach out to us. I know that this is what we do, I see it every day, but sometimes I need a reminder.
It will be a great week!
