Picture Day

Picture day is NEXT Wednesday, August 18, 2021.  We will be sending reminders to families on Monday and Tuesday evenings.  

Lunch Room

We are in a groove in the lunchroom.  

• Please stay with your students until they enter the lunchroom.  
• Please do not send your students into the lunchroom until a lunchroom staff welcomes them in.   

Staff Meeting Agenda - 8/18/2021

We will be having a staff meeting from 3:10-4:30 pm (at the latest) on 8/18/2021 after this meeting the meetings will be on the first Wednesday of the month. We will be meeting in the staff room.

We will be housing the materials in room P1 unless you would like to house the materials in your classroom.  If you would like to have them in your classroom let Heather know.  There is A LOT of materials. 

Ready Common Core

The Language Arts Ready Common Core materials are ready to go on tables in the library and are labeled by the classroom teacher.  We are short some materials in 3rd and 5th grade and they are on order.  The teacher's manuals are not yet barcoded but we wanted to get them in your hands as soon as possible.  Heather will be stopping by your classroom to barcode them in the future.

Library

Heather has put a schedule in your box for you to request your first second and third choices for library time.  Please filling your choices and place them in her box by Tuesday, August 17, 2021.  She will finalize the schedule and have it to you by Friday, August 20, 2021.  The library schedule will begin on August 23, 2021.

Fire Drill

There will be a fire drill on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.  Please begin to prepare your students for this.

Alarms

If you plan to be on campus before 6:30 am, after hours, or on the weekends please be sure to disarm the alarm. If you are here on the weekend please sign in and out on the clip board in the office.  If you do not know your code or need one please let Kristy know.

Weekly Communication and Slide Decks

If you have not yet forwarded your BTSN slide deck and communications my way please do.  It helps me tremendously to support you in talking with families and to be in the know.

Read Aloud with Mrs. Acke

I am looking to be in every classroom to visit and read a story aloud to your class,  this could be in a morning meeting or at another time of the day.  I forwarded a sign-up genius last week in the blog:  Read Aloud Sign-up.  If these times do not work for you and another time would be better please let me know.
