Thank You!
The last couple of weeks have been super stressful and rightfully so! I am so very thankful to you all, as we have embraced the new changes and also embraced the wishes of our colleagues and our families. I am so very hopeful that we are over the hump and am looking forward to the end of the year. Please note given the new guidelines that we are able to:
- Hold Assemblies - we will discuss this at the meeting tomorrow
- Go on Fieldtrips- the goal is one per grade level
- Work in groups - consider reconfiguring your classrooms to embrace collaborative learning
- Gather together on the carpet - this builds community
- Hold small group instruction - Kidney tables are ready to be delivered to your classroom - if you do not have one please reach out to me.
There are so many opportunities where we can make the end of this year that are filled with providing engaging and thoughtful learning opportunities the way it has been in the past. The PTC will be hosting events such as the Art Fair on Open House, our Son's Night Out, and our Daughter Dance as well as a RIver Cat TJ Night Out. As we RISE together we can make the end of this year filled with joy!

Technology Update
- Google Chat Migration
In the upcoming weeks, Google will be transitioning all customers from its classic Hangouts service to its new enterprise-grade collaboration product, Google Chat, making Google Chat the default chat application. - Why is Google moving to Chat?
Along with 1:1 and group chats, Chat supports virtual spaces to help teams collaborate on projects in one place. Teams can share files from Drive, join online meetings with Meet, and pull other tools or workflows into the conversation. - For more information about the new Google Chat, please visit Google's Learning Center.
- If you have any questions, please submit a SchoolDude ticket or give the help desk a call at (916) 771-1645, and we'd be happy to assist
